Ara Mikayelyan

Legal advisor

Ara Mikayelyan serves as a Legal Advisor at Legal Project.

He specializes in the legal support and organization of urban planning, administrative, and land-related processes. His experience within state administration, local self-government bodies, and legal departments enables him to ensure lawful and systematic implementation of processes.

From 1996 to 1997, he served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
During 2002–2004 and 2013–2016, he was engaged in entrepreneurial activities, developing management and organizational expertise.

Since 2020, he has been working at the Urban Development Committee of the Republic of Armenia as Deputy Head of the Legal Department.

He previously worked at the Legal Department of the RA Ministry of Transport and Communication (2004–2005), the “Gosh” Condominium of Nor Nork Administrative District (2005–2009), “Ecoar” CJSC (2009–2010), and the Yerevan Municipality as an expert (2009–2018).

He graduated from Yerevan State Engineering University and the Moscow New Law Institute with a degree in Law.

He has been a member of the TC-6 “Information Technologies” Technical Committee for Standardization since 2013 and holds an ISO 9001 Quality Management System expert certificate.

He is fluent in Armenian and Russian and has working knowledge of English.
